What insurances do I have that you can provide long term support?
Key Man Insurance is available for our senior developers, for custom software.
Tell me more about the servers you run the systems on? ie your servers?
All our off site servers have 99.9% uptime, and are owned by Teacup, not rented, so your data will be safe. All of our servers run linux based server software, this means no extra microsoft licenses and rock solid stability and security.
What backup options do you have?
A backup of your data base is made once a day off site, and hourly on site. File backups are not needed. A disaster recovery mirror server can be set up as well, this provides no down time in the event of a hardware crash. In the event of a natural disaster or any event preventing our servers from running in South Africa, your system can be moved to one of our Europe servers with in 2 hours of request.
How do you support your remote clients?
All support can be done remotely. We use a third party software called Teamviewer to access your pcs remotely and safely to help support, but 95% of the time this is not needed. We supply one contact person to manage your systems and account, there is no call centre to try get through. Office hours system support is free for the first year. Non business hour support is available but will be billed extra at R250.00 an hour.
Can you come and demo to us at out offices?
We do free on-site demo for companies in the Gauteng area. For areas out side these regions all travel costs will be billed to the client. This includes accommodation and visa if required. Teleconferencing with remote access however is normally sufficient for a live instructed demo.
What does you systems cost?
Costs vary depending on your needs.
Factors we take in account when we quote are :
- Will you need use of our finance / quality management specialists.
- Initial set-up time. This depends on the complexity and size of your business.
- Branches, how many branched does your company run, and how many users.
- We do not have an individual pc licence price, so this means in theory that you can have 100 employees using our system from 100 different pcs, what we do factor for is training and support for these users, and server hardware requirements.
- We do not invoice the full initial amount up front. We invoice 1 third upfront, the balance is spread out and paid every month for a year. This helps insure our staff stay commited. During this time small custom development changes can be made at no extra charge, and any version upgrades or bug fixes will be made at no extra cost.
- All travel costs are not included in the accepted quoted price.
- All server hardware requirements and monthly hosting is included in the accepted quoted price.
